BLOOD OF HEROES (2018) Lighting Art

Blood of Heroes is an AAA-style online multiplayer game, set in a dark fantasy world, defined by its visceral PvP melee combat. My role on the project encompassed a range of technical art duties, with a focus on establishing the lighting pipeline, supporting the art team, optimizing performance, and developing visual effects.

The work presented here details my research and development efforts regarding dynamic and baked lighting in Unreal Engine 4, which involved creating multiple lighting scenarios for later use in the game's environments. It also serves to illustrate the pivotal role of lighting in defining atmospheric tone and shaping narrative perception within a consistent environment.
